Alpaca Paddock

At Wild Juniper Ranch, our alpacas are the quiet center of it all. They are soft-footed, gentle, and endlessly curious. Here in their shady paddock beneath the oak and juniper trees, they graze, hum, and watch the world with those soulful eyes. These animals are cared for with intention and respect, and their fleece becomes part of the handmade goods we create and share with our community. Spending time with them is a reminder to slow down, breathe, and connect with the simple beauty of ranch life.

Meet the Herd

Our alpaca herd is small, beloved, and full of personality. Whispering Angiel is our gentle soul hidden behind a load of attitude, always the first to greet you with a soft hum, but she may also be the first to spit at you. Caryzma or "Rizz" for short is our oldest alpaca who lives up to her name by being too cool for school and a little standoffish. Patriesse is our youngest alpaca with an excited curious demeanor , happiest watching the world from her favorite shady spot. And Pure Charm is our bright-eyed sweetheart, playful and easy to love. Together, they bring a peaceful rhythm to the ranch and make every day feel a little more magical.

Our Fiber & Care Practices

We follow gentle, sustainable care methods inspired by the natural pace of the Hill Country. Our alpacas enjoy free-choice hay shipped in from Utah, spacious shelter, clean water, and mineral support year-round. Their fleece is harvested once a year, then skirted, washed, and processed with care to preserve its softness. Every skein, dryer ball, or handcrafted good begins right here—grown naturally on healthy, happy animals living their best life at Wild Juniper Ranch.
