The Garden and Potting Shed
At Wild Juniper Ranch, the garden is a thriving, 1,500-square-foot space fenced with rusting iron, bursting with seasonal vegetables, herbs, and flowers, all nourished by rainwater collection and the rich compost produced locally and on-site. Raised beds made of stone and leftover cedar from the split rail fencing, trellis arches, and cedar paths give it both structure and charm, making it a peaceful haven for both pollinators and people. Nearby, the potting shed stands as a rustic, functional workspace—stocked with hand tools, seed trays, and shelves lined with jars, pots and mystical finds. With its weathered wood, billowed shade cloth, and the scent of soil and herbs in the air, it’s a favorite spot for starting seedlings and dreaming up the next planting season with a cup of tea.

Growing With Purpose
At Wild Juniper Ranch, every seed is planted by hand with care and intention. We start all of our plants from heirloom seeds sourced exclusively from Rare Seeds, nurturing them through soil blocking—a sustainable method where we use wool seconds from our own flock to retain moisture and naturally boost nitrogen in the soil. This hands-on approach allows us to grow vibrant, nutrient-rich produce while honoring regenerative practices that feed both the land and the soul.

Workshops & Garden Gatherings
We’re excited to soon open our garden gates for seasonal workshops and floral bloom and brew tea gatherings. Learn how to start your own garden using our wool-based soil blocks, get inspired by natural growing methods, and enjoy herbal teas made from the flowers and herbs grown right here. Whether you’re a budding gardener or simply seeking a peaceful afternoon among blooms, our events will blend education and beauty in a truly unique way.
