Our German Angora rabbits bring a touch of softness and whimsy to Wild Juniper Ranch. They are raised with gentleness and daily care, offering us their luxurious wool and plenty of charm along the way. Their rabbitry is a quiet, cozy corner of the ranch where we spend time with these sweet, long-eared companions. What they give us becomes part of the handmade, homegrown life we love sharing with others.
Meet Our Rabbits
Hazel is our curious explorer, always the first to hop over for treats. Bluebonnet is calm and velvety-soft, happiest nibbling garden scraps or stretching out for a grooming session. Olivia is bright-eyed, gentle, and delightfully fluffy — content to lounge indoors for “house time” while we brush and care for her fiber. Each rabbit has her own personality, and all three are handled regularly, making them friendly, relaxed, and easy to love.
Fiber & Garden Benefits
We harvest our angoras’ wool by hand, taking care to keep every strand clean and cloud-soft. As we continue working toward spinning their angora into yarn, each skein will carry the story of the rabbits that grew it. Their manure is one of the few fertilizers that can be used fresh and is becoming a cherished addition to our garden beds, helping nourish the same vegetables and herbs they love to snack on. It’s a full-circle, sustainable cycle that keeps our rabbitry rooted in purpose.
